Pre-requests Rules:

Prepare your requests in advance, check it’s not already on Patreon/YouTube/regular requests spreadsheet so that we don’t swap too much after the pre-request period.

We don’t take videos above 10 minutes strictly for the bulk requests anymore. If you want to request a video that is above 10 minutes, it must be above 10 and under 15 minutes and only one by one.

Don’t request the same song several times unless the arrangement is different or it’s a different version of the song. Even if they are from different performances, if the arrangement is the same, there’s no point. No more than 2 different settings/arrangements of the song. We need to keep the streams entertaining for everyone.

No song that is part of an ongoing Ultimate Ranking if it hasn’t already be done in the ranking, unless it’s a very new release (in the same week of the release).

Only Music, no more personality videos, talk shows, game shows, etc

No disguised album parties unless it is less than 6 songs. They will be spread out to avoid too much of the same thing in a row.

No more than 1 song per video (except if it’s a live performance, see below).

Live performances containing multiple songs from the same performance, unedited, are allowed as long as they are in the right duration and 3 songs maximum.

Forbidden requests for streams are:

– Personality Videos (Fan Edits)

– Interviews (without any live performance)

– Variety Shows (without any live performances)

– Movie/Film/Video Game Scenes/Trailers

– Highlight Medleys

– Gossip/Drama news videos

– Reaction videos (to their own MVs etc)

– VLOGs

– Anything AI-made, even if it is a part of it only (VFX, song, vocals, etc…).

Those above can always be requested in corresponding Patreon tiers as Patreon requests outside of the streams.

All of Ross’ released reactions are available in the Reactions Database Search, so feel free to check directly there if it is already done and available. The Requests Spreadsheets are available also on the website to check if something has already been requested (and maybe not released yet).

Put a warning in the message/description for sensitive content if applicable (Nudity/Sexual, Gore, Psychology) or let us know (Latverius, Daniel or Brickerbrack) on discord PM BEFORE the pre-request period. Put the specific day you want in the tip message or let us know (Latverius, Daniel or Brickerbrack) on discord PM BEFORE the pre-request period, switches after the pre-request period are not guaranteed. If any doubt/question about a request, please ask Latverius, Daniel or Brickerbrack BEFORE the pre-request period. ANY request that doesn’t follow the rules will be refunded and cancelled. ANY request that is done over the total limit for the streams will be refunded and cancelled. ANY request that is done outside of the pre-request period will be refunded and cancelled (start and finish of the period is announced by Ross/Latverius/Daniel/Brickerbrack in Announcement channels).

Don’t tag Latverius during the pre-request period. If there is urgent matter, which is us skipping someone’s request you CAN contact Daniel or Brickerbrack if you want though! Any other specific question (day switches, request video switches, anything that is not related to a missed slot) needs to be addressed in PM to Latverius, Daniel, Brickerbrack or Ross BEFORE or AFTER the pre-request period.

/!\WARNING/!\ On the website, if when you send the form it seems to be loading for a long time (after everything was filled in and the paypal process already done), please first check on your paypal if the payment has been done or not. If the payment was not processed, then you can try to refresh, if it was processed, then you can just close the page or change page on the website. Nothing can be charged to your paypal until you’ve filled in everything and done the paypal process itself on the form.

An automated process will fill in the pre-requests spreadsheet and you should be able to see your request there within minutes. If the request is still not on the spreadsheet after a few minutes, it means that maybe the payment wasn’t fully processed, so you can check your paypal to verify it has been processed on your side, and if so, contact Brickerbrack or Daniel so that we can check on our side.

As a final reminder and general guideline, It’s your responsibility to be present to watch your request on stream on the day you chose. While Ross does record the streams, sometimes technical issues can happen and it’s not guaranteed they will go on Patreon later, although Ross does aim to have them all on there. These are STREAM requests, so they are for the livestream more than anything else.

Rules are subject to change at any time if we feel something is missing and it is your responsibility to check them out before requesting each time.

Regarding AI

Message from Ross about AI:

Obviously music videos and visuals having AI is annoyingly sometimes hard to work out (especially when it’s use is not labelled or credited). But to be fair, that can be hard to work out. If that happens on a stream (I think we’ve had a few this month lowkey), I just won’t comment on the music video at all but still comment on the song/artists.

HOWEVER.

AI music. I won’t comment on anything and will dismiss it if I find out it’s an AI vocal or any AI use in the production or instrumental. If you still enjoy that stuff, you have no judgement from me.

BUT please do not request them on streams. Here’s a few things/clues to look out for when it comes to AI music and songs on YouTube:

1) In the description of the video or even next to the title of the video, you will see a small “AI” label. (This is how it should be done legally and I appreciate the youtubers who label this, even if I don’t want to support it)

2) If it’s a song with a vocal and in the description of the video you see credits of a producer/composer etc. But zero sign of a vocalist’s name. That is an AI voice. Why else wouldn’t you credit a human who has put work into singing in the song and giving them a shoutout and mandatory credit?

3) This one isn’t as easy but I’ve seen it myself – People can enjoy the ‘vocalist’ in the comments section and ask who they are to hear more work of theirs (scary for the future of music) and the youtuber will either: Not answer their comment but answer every other type of comment OR be honest about it and say the system/software they used (again, transparency is preferred and important imo).

Thanks again! Trust me, folks, zero judgement from me if you enjoy it yourself (it does really worry me personally about the future of music) but PLEASE can you check what I said above if you have any suspicions. As you saw on stream, it’s not fun for me to dismiss a request like that with zero comments and it kinda breaks my heart when it happens.

Much Love,

Ross”
